Abalone Seahorse Ring – Size 7.5
One of my favorite designs to date, this is a ring for a mermaid. Featuring a luminous abalone shell set in a hand-crafted sterling silver seahorse. Stamped wire details and silver ball accents bring movement and texture with a triple split band.
The seahorse, often seen as a symbol of patience because unlike many fast-moving sea creatures, they glide gracefully and take their time. Their elegant, curved bodies and delicate movement give them an aura of grace and flow. They don’t fight the current — they move with it, making them a symbol of adapting beautifully to your surroundings. Despite their fragility, seahorses are survivors. Their curled tails help them anchor during storms, symbolizing grounding and weathering emotional or environmental turbulence. In many cultures, it’s also a protector of water travelers—making it a fitting guide for those who navigate life with heart and fluidity.
Combined with the swirling colors of abalone, known for its calming and healing properties, this piece becomes a talisman of intuition, protection, and oceanic magic—a wearable reminder to move with the currents and honor your inner mermaid.
