There’s something about creating with your hands that slows everything down.

Before MelJewelz, I was always drawn to art, drawing, painting, music, anything that let me express what I felt but couldn’t always put into words. But I didn’t find silversmithing until 2021, and when I did, it felt like everything clicked into place.

It wasn’t just about making jewelry.

It was about creating something that carries energy & that feels alive.

Every piece I make is shaped by the places and moments that have left a mark on me. Growing up surrounded by mountains and animals, and later spending time in places like Hawaii and Costa Rica, I’ve always felt deeply connected to nature.

The ocean, the jungle, the mountains, my love of animals, they all find their way into my work.

Each piece is one-of-a-kind, made slowly, intentionally, and with the idea that it will end up exactly where it’s meant to be, with someone who feels connected to it.

That’s my favorite part.

Not just creating but knowing something I made becomes part of someone else’s story.

MelJewelz isn’t just jewelry.

It’s little pieces of nature, memory, and feeling turned into something you can wear. I want each piece to be a reminder you can take with you of your own strength & beauty. A little talisman that holds where you are in your journey, and everything it took to get there.
